“Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it.”
Salvador Dali

My process is intuitive and physical. I build up layers of acrylic, ink, oil pastel, gold leaf and found materials, scraping back and adding until the painting finds its own voice. I am drawn to bold colour, honest mark-making and the happy accidents that come from mixing mediums freely.
When I am not painting on canvas, I create bespoke legacy collages - one-of-a-kind artworks made from personal photographs, keepsakes and ephemera. These are memory made tangible, designed to be treasured for generations.
Layers, mark-making
and happy accidents
Every painting begins with instinct - a wash of colour, a gesture, a mark I didn't plan. I work with acrylic, ink, oil pastel, gold leaf and found materials, building the surface in layers that push against each other. The physicality of it matters: the drag of a palette knife, the bloom of ink in wet paint, the way texture catches light differently at every hour of the day.
I scrape back as much as I add. Beneath the final surface are whole paintings - decisions made and undone, colours buried but still somehow present. What you see is the result of a conversation between the material and me, not a plan executed but a discovery made. The happy accidents are not mistakes. They are the work.
